My WSL Fantasy watchlist.
New leg, new list. Here's who I'm keeping an eye on for WSL Fantasy 2026/27 as we head into Leg 2.
The first leg gave us a chance to see who was delivering, who was worth the money and who was perhaps a little too good at convincing me they were a sensible Fantasy pick. Now it's time to start again, with a fresh watchlist based on what we've learned so far.
As before, there are premium picks, cheaper options, differentials and players who've caught my attention for one reason or another. I'm looking at things like price, points, attacking returns, minutes and ownership to work out who's worth considering for the next leg.
This is a new list rather than a continuation of the original, so players don't automatically carry over. If you want to see who made the cut last time, you can still find my Leg 1 watchlist here.
So, how are they actually doing?
This page is about why a player caught my attention. The separate tracker is where I actually put that thinking to the test.
Once a player is on the watchlist, I can follow their Fantasy returns through the season and see whether the reason I added them was actually justified - or whether I've once again convinced myself that a player is a good idea because they scored a goal last weekend.

There's no single formula. Price, points so far, expected minutes, attacking involvement, clean-sheet potential, ownership, fixtures, role and general Fantasy appeal can all play a part.
Sometimes it's a player who's already been delivering. Sometimes it's someone whose numbers suggest there's more to come. And sometimes it's simply me looking at a £4.5m player and thinking, "Surely this can't be a terrible idea."

A quick note: There's no WSL2 in the schedule this week, so this round of recommendations focuses on WSL players. I'll be back to looking at both leagues when WSL2 returns.
| # | Player | Team | Pos | Why I'm watching |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 01 | Hannah Hampton | Chelsea | GK | Four clean sheets and 29 points from Leg 1 make Hampton a strong option at £5.5m. Chelsea's clean-sheet potential gives her a solid foundation, and she's my first choice to consider if you're looking to invest in a premium goalkeeper. |
| 02 | Ellie Carpenter | Chelsea | DEF | Carpenter finished Leg 1 with 48 points, a goal, an assist and four clean sheets. At £7m, she's a premium defender, but the combination of Chelsea's defensive potential and her ability to contribute in attack makes her an appealing option. |
| 03 | Lauren Hemp | Man City | MID | Hemp has 52 points, four goals and two assists already. Two separate 19-point hauls show just how explosive she can be, making the £8m price tag easier to justify. If you're after a midfielder capable of delivering a big score, she's firmly on the list. |
| 04 | Khadija Shaw | Man City | FWD | Five goals and an assist have helped Shaw collect 42 points in Leg 1. At £12.5m, she's a major investment, but she's already shown the kind of returns that can make that spend worthwhile. If you're going big up front, she's difficult to overlook. |
| 05 | Phallon Tullis-Joyce | Manchester United | GK | Tullis-Joyce has earned 27 points, with 24 saves contributing to her total. That ability to pick up points through saves gives her another route to returns beyond clean sheets, making her an interesting alternative among the goalkeeper options. |
| 06 | Ruby Mace | Everton | DEF | Two goals, 61 defensive actions and 41 points make Mace an exciting option at £5.5m. Her 20-point haul shows the kind of big score she can produce, while her defensive contributions give her another way to pick up points. A defender with a bit more about her than just clean sheets. |
| 07 | Victoria Pelova | Spurs | MID | Five goals and an assist in just 286 minutes is a seriously impressive return. Pelova has already collected 45 points at £6.5m, making her one of the most intriguing midfielders on this list. More minutes could make her an even more exciting Fantasy option. |
| 08 | Kiko Seike | Brighton | FWD | Seike has scored three goals and picked up 27 points so far, including a 15-point return against Charlton. That's the sort of haul that makes you take notice. Brighton face Man City next, but Seike is still one I'd keep firmly on the radar for the games ahead. |
| 09 | Courtney Brosnan | Everton | GK | Brosnan has collected 28 points, including two clean sheets, and is averaging 5.6 points per match. At £5m, she offers a good-value alternative if you'd rather save a little money in goal and spend it elsewhere in your squad. |
| 10 | Lucy Bronze | Chelsea | DEF | Bronze has 41 points, four clean sheets, a goal and an assist for just £5.5m. Add in 63 defensive actions and you've got a defender with several ways to contribute. She's an appealing Chelsea option if Carpenter's £7m price tag feels a bit steep. |
| 11 | Océane Hurtré | Birmingham | MID | Hurtré is the highest scorer on this list, with 53 points after five goals and an assist in Leg 1. At £6m, those are some very convincing numbers. She's one of the players I'm most interested to follow into the next leg to see whether she can keep delivering. |
| 12 | Vivien Endemann | Liverpool | FWD | Two goals and two assists have earned Endemann 29 points at £6m, with an average of 7.3 points per appearance. That's a promising return for the price, and her minutes are worth following as the season progresses. There's plenty to like if she continues to feature regularly. |
| 13 | Akane Okuma | Aston Villa | GK | Okuma is the budget goalkeeper option at £4.5m, with 23 points from 450 minutes. Her 30 saves show she can still bring in points when clean sheets aren't forthcoming. If you're looking to free up funds for the rest of your squad, she's worth considering. |
| 14 | Grace Fisk | Liverpool | DEF | Fisk has picked up 34 points at £5m, with two goals and 70 defensive actions already to her name. That's a useful combination of attacking and defensive contributions for an affordable defender, making her a solid name to keep on the watchlist. |
| 15 | Daniëlle van de Donk | London City | MID | Three goals, two assists and 39 points make van de Donk an appealing midfield option at just £4.5m. That price leaves plenty of room to invest elsewhere, while her attacking returns show she can offer more than simply filling a budget slot. |
| 16 | Olivia Garcia | Brighton | FWD | At just £4m, Garcia is the budget forward who could help make the rest of your squad work. She's already picked up 17 points, including a goal, in 201 minutes. If her involvement grows, she could become an interesting way to save money up front. |
