2026/27 Season · Can I Stick With It?

Fantasy football. Let's see if I stick with it.

Two games.
One manager with a questionable track record.
Let's see how this goes.

Premier League

FPL

The usual problem.

The Premier League, a £100m budget and absolutely no guarantee that I know what I'm doing.

Women's Super League

WSL

Surely I'm good at this?

I spend far too much time watching women's football, so surely some of that knowledge has to be useful.

Previous Experience

The usual pattern.

Every season starts with optimism. Then, usually around Gameweek 5 or 6, things begin to fall apart.

01

Big plans.

Spend far too long researching players and convincing myself this season will be different.

02

Questionable decisions.

Make a few transfers, miss an obvious captain and immediately blame the fixtures.

03

Quietly disappear.

Forget to check the team for a few Gameweeks and slowly pretend fantasy football no longer exists.

So this year, I've decided to try something different. Make twice as many bad decisions.

Play Along

More chances to beat me.

Two fantasy games.
Two leagues.
Twice as many opportunities to finish above me.

From the Experiment

Latest posts.

Teams, transfers, captain disasters and whatever else happens while I attempt to actually stick with this.

Never played WSL Fantasy before?
You're not the only one.

I'm putting together a simple series of guides covering everything from picking your first squad to working out how the points, transfers and chips actually work.

No expert nonsense. Just the useful stuff.

Pick players you like. Overthink everything.

Regret nothing - except the captain.
